Remember September

Remember September founders and brothers Ben and David Wilheim join the Sydney Walk and remind everyone that ‘to live in the hearts of those we leave behind, is not to die’.

Remember September is about making a much-needed difference to this world, one step at a time. It’s about encouraging positive lifestyle changes, keeping healthy, and raising much-needed awareness and funds for Pancreatic Cancer research.

This is how it works: for the entire month of September, challengers give up drinking all liquids except water. Participants are encouraged to reach out to family and friends to sponsor them. This raises vital funds for Pancreatic Cancer research as well as raising awareness of the challenges that surround Pancreatic Cancer.

The month is difficult yet, extremely rewarding. A month of drinking only water cleanses your body, makes you feel lighter and healthier while bringing a cure one step closer to reality.

Remember September is the brainchild of brothers David and Ben Wilheim who set up the challenge after losing their father Danny and cousin Danielle to the disease.

To date, the Remember September Challenge has raised almost $230,000 for Pancreatic Cancer research, and the Avner Pancreatic Cancer Foundation is very grateful to be chosen as the sole beneficiary of Remember September.
