Walk for Pancreatic Cancer - Melbourne 2018

Following successive years of record breaking attendance, the 2018 Melbourne “Put Your Foot Down” Walk for Pancreatic Cancer will take place on Sunday 6th May. Once again it will start at Alexandra Gardens on the banks of the Yarra River with the 5km route following the scenic river paths and return along the Southbank Promenade.

We’re off and “walking” for 2018! The good people of Perth joined us on March 25 for our first “Put Your Foot Down” walk for the year. Despite the windy conditions it was wonderful to see so many old and new faces from the Perth community who banded together for their 5th annual walk for Pancreatic Cancer and helped raise over $23,000!

Teralba Park was transformed into a sea of purple on Sunday, October 8 for our sixth annual Brisbane "Put Your Foot Down" walk for Pancreatic Cancer. A huge "thank you" to everyone who took part in the walk, fundraised, donated and volunteered. We are so pleased to announce that to date the 2017 Brisbane walk has raised $30,792 and donations are still coming in.

The Wish You Were Here Team Walk the Kokoda Trail for Pancreatic Cancer

On September 1 the "Wish You Were Here" team set off on their Kokoda trek. After losing their close mate, Peter Grima, to Pancreatic Cancer they set themselves a task that was symbolic of the challenges and hardships faced by cancer patients from the initial diagnosis and throughout the treatment. They have written a firsthand account of the trek and have shared their experience with all of us.
