As we set up for our 8th annual Melbourne walk, hot air balloons drifted across the city skyline and rowers skimmed across the Yarra. The sun shone all morning and we had perfect conditions for our wonderful Melbourne walkers who turned up in all their purple glory to collectively raise funds and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer.
We’re off and “walking” for 2018! The good people of Perth joined us on March 25 for our first “Put Your Foot Down” walk for the year. Despite the windy conditions it was wonderful to see so many old and new faces from the Perth community who banded together for their 5th annual walk for Pancreatic Cancer and helped raise over $23,000!
The Adelaide Walk is always special. . On 5th November our sixth annual Adelaide “Put Your Foot Down” Walk was held under clear sunny skies as our walkers made their way along Henley Beach. It is such a fitting end to our National Walk calendar to end in November, the internationally recognised Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month.
Teralba Park was transformed into a sea of purple on Sunday, October 8 for our sixth annual Brisbane "Put Your Foot Down" walk for Pancreatic Cancer. A huge "thank you" to everyone who took part in the walk, fundraised, donated and volunteered. We are so pleased to announce that to date the 2017 Brisbane walk has raised $30,792 and donations are still coming in.
