Sydney 2015 "Put Your Foot Down" Walk for Pancreatic Cancer

Thursday, 27 August 2015 Posted in Past Events, 2015

We had a stunning day for our 7th annual Sydney walk, which took place in the new location of Shelly Beach. All who participated agreed this was a fantastic location. Not only is the setting superb looking out on the water, but so much interest was created by the steady steam of “purple people” walking along the Manly Beach esplanade, that we had many people who were passing by asking what we were doing and who we were raising money for. We also had a record crowd for Sydney, with 322 people registering for the event and an amazing $44,125 being raised so far!

Thank you to all those who registered, fundraised, donated and dressed up in such creative outfits to support the Foundation through this walk.

Thank you to all those who volunteered their time and resources to make this walk a success. This walk could not go ahead without you and we are so grateful for your support.
