Going Purple for Pancreatic Cancer 2018

Saturday, 23 June 2018 Posted in Future Events, 2018

As the footy season kicks off for another year so does our very popular “Purple Socks” campaign.

We are reaching out to all sporting codes around Australia to buy our “Avner 2018” purple branded socks to wear on the weekend of June 23 and 24.

This wonderful campaign was started in 2015 by Isabella Di Manno following the death of her fiance’s mother to Pancreatic Cancer. Realising the devastating statistics associated with Pancreatic Cancer, Isabella wanted to do something that would raise money and awareness of this severely underfunded cancer.

Isabella’s aim is to eventually see all sporting fields and courts across Australia “turned purple” as players of all ages and from all sporting codes purchase and proudly wear her purple socks.

All proceeds from the sale of the socks go directly towards Australian cutting edge research into Pancreatic Cancer.

Get involved and kick some goals for Pancreatic Cancer!
